upnmthesis is a LaTeX class for authoring theses that fulfill formatting specifications required by Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM). This class and template was commissioned by the university's Centre of Graduate Studies in April, 2016, for both undergraduate and postgraduate theses. A sample file sample-thesis.tex, as well as relevant sample chapters, are included in the package. upnmthesis is available as a template on Overleaf which I recommend you modify for your own thesis write-up. (You can rename it, but I'll stick with the file name sample-thesis.tex throughout this guide.) The latest version of this template can also be downloaded from my website.
The changes package, distributed with TeX Live, allows the user to manually markup changes of text, such as additions, deletions, or replacements. This example customizes the package to show author annotations with avatars. (Here's a more conventional example without the avatars. )
The changes package, distributed with TeX Live, allows the user to manually markup changes of text, such as additions, deletions, or replacements. Changed text is shown in a different colour; deleted text is crossed out. The package allows definition of additional authors and their associated colour. It also allows you to define a markup for authors or annotations. (Here's another customised example using avatars for the author annotations.)
The XITS fonts provide a Times-like serif typeface for mathematical and scientific publishing. They provide a version of the STIX fonts enriched with the OpenType MATH extension, making them suitable for high quality mathematical typesetting with XeTeX and LuaTeX. XITS fonts are free and open source.
This is an example usage of bidimoderncv.cls, provided by the bidi package. (The example has been modified to use fonts available on Overleaf.) This example uses the Arabic script, but can be adapted for use other RTL scripts (e.g. Hebrew).
