Modifying Linux Kernel
In this document we focus on modifying the Linux Kernel through memory and scheduler parameters. The main objective is to study the performance of a computer during the execution of AIO-Stress Benchmark. It was necessary to run the test several times since three of the parameter mentioned in this project were modified 5 times. After completing the test, the results were displayed on graphs, showing that all the variables have a noticeable influence on the performance of the computer.

Resenha de Artigo - ESTUDO DA OPERACIONALIDADE DO CANAL DE CRÉDITO NO BRASIL USANDO VAR ESTRUTURAL COINTEGRADO.
This paper addresses the issue of bank lending channel in Brazil using monthly aggregate data in the range 1995/2010, in a structural cointegrated VAR. Following techniques previously used by Huelsewig et al (2005) and Walsh and Wilcox (1995) and applying a VECM model, it is estimated the response of bank loans to a monetary policy shock and to identify demand and supply of loans. The results show evidence of the operation of the credit channel in Brazil, and through the historical decomposition of the variance observes the role of credit in the performance of industrial product during recent phases of expansion and contraction of the Brazilian economy.

An Overview of the Development of a Quantum Computer Simulator
Since the conception of the Quantum Computer (QC), their potential for greater magnitudes in speed of processing calculations has been realised by the vast majority of interested parties. This has led to a recent push in research and development in creating a stable QC which can perform quantum algorithms. To aid the creation of a stable and highly available quantum computer, simulators have been developed as a tool to as the thought processes. This report discusses details of a project that aims to investigate around the subject area, and produce an application to allow users to simulate quantum algorithms on a QC.
